Our Story

Born of family and friends ... in 2008, friends Gianpaolo de Felice and David Mayer dreamed of opening a seaside outdoor restaurant in the Hamptons - one that would serve authentic pasta reminiscent of what Gianpaolo’s Neapolitan mother always made. They realized their dream that very year with Gianpaolo’s wife Gabby Karan de Felice adding her sophisticated and visionary aesthetics with an interior that was chic and intimate. Together, Gianpaolo, Gabby, David and his wife Gally, created a welcoming dining experience.

Making the experience all the more personal and unique, Gabby and her mother Donna Karan opened an Urban Zen lifestyle store next door.  Tutto became an instant word-of-mouth sensation for its delicious Southern Italian food and its family and friends atmosphere.

Today, almost 20 years later, Tutto il Giorno is as popular as ever - and growing.  The winning concept spans two locations in the Hamptons, as well as two Tutto Caffé's, each a casual indoor/outdoor Italian-style café and bar, featuring its own Tutto Caffé branded coffee made from freshly grown regenerative beans.  In 2026, the Tutto family introduced Tutto Mare, a highly-acclaimed waterfront restaurant in Palm Beach, now home to both familiar and a new clientele.
